Corky Normart Papers
Ara F. “Corky” Normart is a Fresno native, artist, watercolorist and designer. Normart was selected to lead the design team in the restoration of the interior of the dome of the Church of the Holy Sepulcher in Jerusalem. In his oral history he describes the challenges associated with navigating and trying to please the various factions that administer the church and describes the design process and materials used in the construction.
