Albert Four (USAID) (back middle in white tee shirt) and his assistants in Ban Xon. Front, second from left, is Bounmee. Bounmee was responsible for saving U.S. Navy pilot LT Charles F. Klusmann who was shot down in 1964 over the Plain of Jars. Klusmann was captured and spent 86 days in captivity until he escaped the prisoner camp on August 30, 1964 and rescued two days later.
