Originally “La Raza Studies” program at Fresno State in the late 60’s, the Chicano and Latin American Studies program at Fresno State examines and teaches historical and contemporary culture and experiences of Chicanx and Latin American people through classes as well as through theater, published works, and community events and outreach.
